Climate Café

The Climate Café is a group-directed discussion of climate change with no agenda; an informal and confidential conversation, supported by facilitators.

Who is it for ?
Open to anyone aged 18 or over who is worried about the climate and ecological crisis. A safe space to share, learn, talk and listen. There is no need to currently be involved in climate actions.

Free – donations are welcome

We suggest saving your spot ahead of time to help the facilitator to organise the event. Please book via Eventbrite.

Facilitator

Anissa is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a deep passion for supporting individuals affected by adoption and trauma, including trauma resulting from natural disasters. She is also interested in the psychological impact of climate change, recognising its profound effects on our well-being and mental health.

Maeva is a student and volunteer at Jamyang and works as a midwife for the NHS. She has experience facilitating groups and workshops, and is inspired to hold spaces where members of the community can come together to explore and discuss the emotional impact of the climate and ecological crisis.
