Mending Circle is a gentle un-facilitated space to mend textiles. It is to promote a low impact living, shared love and care for ourselves as well as what we have, or just simply to savour the joy of communal hand-sewing activities while sharing a pot of tea.
Bring clothes you’d want to mend. Threads and needles are provided. We do hand-sewing only.

Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is necessary.

Asako loves simple handwork and has a passion to promote doing this communally through activities such as art-making, mending and cooking. She is interested in exploring how simple and communal hand activities can heal and restore our heart, body and society as well as how it can help us be more aligned with the environment.
